This grand old Remuera home stands elegantly on Arney Road with large wrap around verandas and classic villa detailing. The interiors are no less grand with a stunning central staircase and character fireplaces in most rooms.

Creating an interior and furnishing solution that reflected the client’s contemporary taste was our design brief. The design intent throughout was to bring texture and colour to spaces to allow comfort and liveability within the large family home. Removing unnecessary excessive detailing from previous owners and modernising the spaces for our client helped to personalise each space.
We were tasked with considering the design of the joinery and to bring all elements of theinteriors together. Our approach was to create an interior centred around black and white - bothin materiality and colour.
